The Coffs Harbour Pistol Club was established in 1970 at Sugarmill Road, north of Coffs Harbour. In 1978, the club relocated to Mt. Browne Road at Karangi. It was the first registered pistol club on the Mid North Coast, becoming an incorporated organisation in 1979.
We are affiliated with the NSW Amateur Pistol Association/Pistol Australia and conduct the worldwide recognised ISSF pistol events. We are also affiliated with IPSC Australia and conduct the practical pistol event, which is a super challenging world level action pistol discipline.
The Club is active in organising shooting activities for members. In addition to weekly events, we conduct open competitions annually for inter-state shooters.
Coffs Harbour Pistol Club Inc. is a not-for profit association, aimed at promoting the sport of pistol shooting in the local community. We welcome people of all genders and ages including juniors from the age of 12 years. For those who are interested in joining the sport, the Club will offer equipment and safety training to eligible, unlicenced persons to start, and guide them throughout the procedure of obtaining a full handgun licence.
